Eamonn DeBarra

Éamonn de Barra was born in Dublin where he now lives, and began to play music at a young age under the instuction of Seán Ó Tuama.  He comes from one of the most musical homes in Dublin, where his family has a long tradition of music par excellence.  Éamonn won the Young Traditional Musician of The Year Award in 2000. He has toured Europe extensively with the award winning Traditional band Slide and has been active in the U.S.A. and Japan over the past few years.
