Gavin Mee

Gavin Mee hails from the suburb of Dundrum in Dublin. An authentic grassroots grown troubadour, Gavin has plied his trade through the theatres, clubs and festivals of continental Europe - collecting many anecdotes along the way. Inspired by the writings of Randy Newman, Richard Thompson and Loudon Wainwright III, Gavin has honed his craft and developed a unique style combining intricate finger picked tunes with quirky captivating narratives.
In 2012 Gavin returned to his hometown of Dublin to complete the new album entitled “MeeMantras”. A collaboration with ‘powerpop’ man and fellow songwriter/producer Duncan Maitland (Picture House, Pugwash) released in 2014 on his own label “Birthings Records” 
Gavin has just recently completed a hugely successful three week tour of the U.S..
