Jeb Loy Nichols is a restless soul.  An artist and author as well as a
musician, he has released ten CD’s, mixing folk, soul and country.  Born in Wyoming and raised in Missouri, Nichols absorbed the sounds of both rural America and the southern soul he heard on the radio. At 17 he moved to New York; four years later he came to London.  He spent five years playing with Fellow Travellers, a country/dub band, and then released his first solo CD.
He has toured and played with John Martyn, Richard Thompson, Robert Cray, John Hiatt, Horace Andy and Lucinda Williams.  His current CD, Days Are Mighty, has been described by The Guardian, as ‘an absolute campfire classic.  A soulful record, full of slow burning melancholia”
