Seolta are an exciting newly-formed group from Dublin, made up of four experienced musicians, each bringing their own
unique musical contributions. They met each other through the traditional music scene, realising their potential and shared love
for the music, Seolta was formed.
Their music is a fresh approach to both traditional and contemporary tunes and songs
arranged sympathetically, sometimesfeaturing four-part harmonies. Their wide range of instrumentsprovides the perfect accompaniment
for the effortless singing of thewell-respected Caoimhe Hogarty. Between them their instruments are guitar, fiddle, banjo,
mandolin, piano, whistle and bodhran. They have played with greats such as Christy Moore, Declan Sinnott, HughBuckley, Liz Carroll
and Maurice Lennon, all of whom have been very influential to them. For these four women music has been their lives though from diverse musical backgrounds, their vision for this group is
collective, to take an uncomplicated and sensitive approach to the music, allowing it to speak for itself. Caoimhe Hogarty,
